A 500ml bottle of sterile saline eye wash.
A minimum of two of these are recommended by the Health and Safety Executive (HSE) where you do not have a source of fresh running tap water available for irrigating eyes, cooling burns, or cleaning wounds.
How to use:
- Smoothly twist the lid in either direction to break the seal and remove the lid.
- Position the bottle above the eye and gently squeeze so that the fluid flows freely across they eye ball to the outer corner.
- Cleanse the eye(s) with as much solution as required.
Contents: Sodium Chloride 0.9% w/v Ph.Eur.
- For external use only
- For irrigation only
- Not for injection
- Do not use unless the solution is clear, and the seal is intact
- Discard any unused solution within 24 hours
