The "Level 3 Award in Paediatric First Aid" qualification is based on, and meets the requirements of the Ofsted* and Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) guidelines** for people who work with, or look after, children, to enable them to have a basic knowledge of how to deal with emergency first aid situations. The course will give confidence and practice in the emergency life-saving techniques that are required in those first few minutes before professional help arrives, and includes some conditions/injuries that may occur when working with, or looking after children.
A Level 3 QCF regulated qualification offers significant advantages over non-regulated courses. Course credits (3 credits for this course) can be placed directly onto your Personal Learning Record for easy credit transfer for those studying towards higher qualifications, such as qualifications in Childcare, and you are assured of a high quality in the delivery of the training due to the quality assurance processes in place.
